M. Wagner
Sandra M. Wagner received her B.A. degree with highest honors in Spanish from St. Lawrence University. She spent her junior year abroad studying at the University of Madrid. She obtained her law degree from the University of San Diego, where she was a volunteer translator for a National City legal clinic, chief justice of the honor court, and a member of the San Diego Law Review.
She is a member of the Bar of California and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Tax Court. In addition to practicing immigration law, she has extensive experience in administrative, business, and real estate law.
She served as a member of the City of Mountain View (CA) Planning Commission from 1982-84. She is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). She currently serves on the San Diego Chapter USCIS Liason Committee. She previously served as Vice-Chair of the San Diego Chapter of AILA in 2000-02 and 2006-07 and Chair of the San Diego Chapter of AILA in 2002-03 and 2007-08. She was on the national AILA California Service Center Liaison Committee 2003-04.
Ms. Wagner was an Editor for AILA's 12th Annual California Chapters Conference Handbook, and she served on the AILA San Diego Basics Conference Committee and AILA's 16th, 19th & 20th Annual California Chapters Conference Committees. She also was a speaker on various AILA conference panels dealing with business and family immigration issues and was named in the 2005-06 edition of Who's Who in American Law.
